Let's start with the very famous Alexanderplatz. Here we find the Galeria Kaufhof which hosts trendy fashion brands, hi-tech and gastronomic departments, cosmetics and perfumery. Always in Alexanderplatz there is ALEXA Shopping Center, one of the largest shopping malls in all of Berlin which with its 5 floors, over 180 shops and 17 restaurants, offers visitors a mix of fashion, entertainment and relaxation. The street par excellence for high-level shopping is the Friedrichstrasse, a real succession of prestigious brands. Here the great glass pyramid of the Galeries Lafayette, an elegant building specializing in Made in France fashion with an entire floor dedicated to the tasting of French culinary specialties.
Not far away we find the Culture department store, a sort of cultural shopping center that houses five floors of books, music, films but also souvenirs and gifts.
Lovers of vintage and antiques cannot miss a walk through the streets of Kreuzberg district, a must for those looking for something special and unusual such as old records, second-hand fashion and accessories. On Bergmannstraße street-wear shops, antiques, cafes and bookshops alternate. On Oranienstraße you will find numerous breweries and cafes, vintage shops and everything for fans of young fashion, alternative and second-hand clothing.
Shopping for low-cost clothing and accessories in Berlin is possible in one of the countless flea markets. Impossible to list them all, but they are present more or less frequently in every neighborhood and on almost every day of the week. One of these is held right at Kreuzberg in the area of Princess Gardens. Here the goods are very varied: from used clothes to toys to handmade objects, with a little attention you will find the occasion or the very object you were looking for!
